Fate: In 1922 the Manuwai was sold to Waikato Steam Navigation & Coalmining Co of the Waikato River in Hamilton New Zealand. In November of that year, she was sold to Roose Shipping Co of Mercer and continued to work until August 1939 when her last survey expired. She was drawn up onto the riverbank south of Mercer where her remains rest to this very day.
